The province of Flevoland consists of two polders: the Noordoostpolder and the Flevopolder. The Flevopolder is the largest man-made island in the world. The ANWB cycling tour ‘From coast to coast’ leads you through the vast Flevoland landscape of grasslands, fields and forests. The route takes you from the Veluwerandmeren near Zeewolde to the Markermeer near Lelystad and back again. There is plenty to see, do and eat along the way, so make a day of it!
Start in Zeewolde at the Harderhaven car park/restaurant De Proeverij Hardersluis. Enter the cycle path and then turn left under the roundabout. At cycle junction 29 turn to 23 and then follow the next cycle junctions:
