Flevoland consists of the regions of Almere, Dronten, Lelystad, Noordoostpolder, Urk and Zeewolde. Each one of our regions is different, which makes a visit to all regions of Flevoland more than worthwile. In Urk, for instance, you can see from everything that this used to be an island in the Zuiderzee, while Almere is a very modern city with innovative architecture. The Noordoostpolder contains most of the villages, arranged in a ring around Emmeloord.
Every year, Visit Flevoland releases a tourist map, which is distributed to visitors through various tourist information points, campsites and hotels. On this tourist map, we briefly list interesting activities and sights throughout the province.
