TOP? - Top!

Parking, cycling and catering

To make it easy for cyclists and hikers to discover Flevoland's most beautiful spots, several TOPs have been spread across the province. TOPs are Toeristische OverstapPunten: information pillars almost 3 metres high with suggestions for various signposted cycling and hiking routes starting at that TOP. And the nice thing is: you can park your car here for free and after your cycling or walking tour you can enjoy a snack and a drink at the available catering establishment.

Didn't bring your own bicycle? - Rent one!

With or without support

At various places in Flevoland, you can rent bicycles, with or without electric assistance. So you can take wonderful bike rides, even if you do not have a bike or did not bring one with you on your trip to Flevoland. Want to hire a tougher two-wheeler? Then consider an E-Chopper or Fatbike: electric, so nice and quiet and environmentally friendly. E-Choppers are available for rent at Van der Valk Hotel Emmeloord and at Toms Creek in Lelystad. Finally, scattered across the Noordoostpolder are five bike hubs, where you can pick up an electric bike you have reserved in advance online. Feel free to return it at another bike hub, so you don't necessarily have to return to your starting point. Handy if you travel by public transport.

Roadworks

As in all other provinces, Flevoland is also working on the road. But not only on the road, mind you. Also on cycle paths, bridges, locks and jetties. Facilities for residents and visitors are being improved, expanded and made safer. You may be inconvenienced during your stay, but be aware that these roadworks are not for nothing.
