In April and May, it’s tulip season in Flevoland. During this time, various temporary car and cycling routes appear. Tulpenroute Flevoland organises several routes and fun activities around the tulip fields of Eastern and Southern Flevoland, while in the Noordoostpolder, StEP NOP hosts the Tulip Festival, which is packed with activities. The ±100-kilometre car route always passes the tulip experience field and the tulip variety garden. The shorter cycling route also takes you past the most beautiful tulip fields.
