The fruit tree route leads you past beautiful fruit trees; a truly amazing sight when they bloom in spring.
In autumn, some fruit companies even allow you to pick the blushing apples and pears direct from the tree. Stop off at the Vink Fruit farm on the Zuiderringweg, stroll through the orchard and select the most beautiful varieties hanging from apple and pear trees.
As well as the attractive fruit trees, this route also guides you past the Pier+Horizon land art work by Paul de Korte. Cycle down the path towards the dyke and enjoy the delightful view of this evolving structure.

In the 'Voorsterbos' fungi paradise you will, of course, come across many types of fungi, as well as sea shells. Really? Absolutely, and a reminder of a time when the woods weren’t woods at all, but the Zuiderzee seabed.
