Take a walk on the north and east sides of Lelystad, where several city forests were created in the 1970s. These urban forests are part of the green belt around the city: the Jagerbos, the Bergbos, the Oostervaartbos, the Paardenbos, the Oostrandbos and the Stiltebos.
The walk starts at the Lelycentre. Via the Veluwe bridge, you walk through the Zuiderzeewijk, the city's oldest neighbourhood. In the Bergbos, you climb a hill recalling an old dump of construction debris. In the Paardenbos you pass the riding school. At the end, you cross Lelystad's City Park.
