The eastern part of the Kotterbos serves as a resting area for the red deer in winter. This concerns the area east of the Nature Boulevard. The area is not accessible at that time; this walk is then diverted. Notice of the closure can be read on the Oostvaardersplassen foresters' blog. Dogs are welcome in this area, provided they are kept on a lead.
