The construction of Almere-Haven began with the Begin forest. Hence the name of this route. At 3.2 kilometres, it is a short but beautiful round trip. The route winds through the lush forest AND tackles a series of climbs on an old rubbish tip. So you end up with 30 altimeters after one lap.
There are several bowl bends and jumps in the route. This course is also granulated, which means you can cycle it in both summer and winter. You can cycle it a few times in a row to work on your fitness, or combine it with the Kemphaan/Braambergen courses. A connecting route is signposted to these circuits.
