The museum houses old machines, aircraft, cars and slot machines. The MEC is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On other days, the museum can only be visited by appointment and for groups of at least 20 people.
At the museum, you will encounter literally everything. From historic internal combustion engines, steam engines and locomotives to sewing machines, toys, old tools and a large collection of agricultural implements! On open days, engines and machines are started up, the third Saturday of the month is steam day at the museum, (except for the winter months) then various steam engines under steam can be admired. In the summer months, there is a bee safari.
Come, feel, smell and enjoy over 100 years of technology at the bottom of the Zuiderzee at the MEC Museum in Dronten.
