‘The Fantasie' was built in 1982; a result of a contest on the theme of unusual living. The competition encouraged the architects to tear up the building regulations and ignore any obstructions. However, they were obliged to create a house that would vanish after five years. That last condition was obviously a bit of a moot point, as due to their enormous success the houses still exist.
