The Eem Houses B&B are roomy, stand-alone chalets in the Oosterwold district of Almere. Right at the edge of what used to be the Eemvallei (low regions on the banks of the river Eem) which gave them their name.
This Bed & Breakfast facility consists of four luxury chalets, each sleeping four people in about 56m2. Besides a spacious living room, there are 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. There’s TV and, of course, WiFi. There’s also an outdoor seating area to enjoy.
All the chalets border on the edge of the woods, with lots of peace, quiet and privacy. Oosterwold itself is very environmentally friendly and all energy requirements are acquired via solar panels. They also have their own water purification plant there. Free parking is available.

Oosterwold is a very unique place in the Netherlands. Two thirds of the land there is ‘green’ and it greatly contributes ecological qualities to the area. There is room for lots of different kinds of greenery, including farmland, forest, recreation, and flower and vegetable (greenhouse) nurseries. The various forms of food production are all part of the self-sufficient character of Oosterwold.
