Visitors and residents can go to the location for information about Almere and its surroundings, tourist maps, routes, books and guides. Information screens with activities are also located here. There is an information screen with activities on it and more information about the city can be obtained at the library desk, via a dedicated PC and leaflets at the desk. The VVV service point is located in the new Almere Buiten library. Walking enthusiasts can also go there. The 'Hans Prins Route' is also available here free of charge, a signposted walking route of over 20 kilometres through Almere Buiten. The route starts and ends at the VVV service point on the Baltimoreplein.
