At the heart of the entertainment centre lies a public square called Schipperplein. The garden is fringed by commercial functions and has an undulating relief. The small groups of trees, given time, will grow to provide shady canopies. A meandering stream,
which will be frozen to form a skating rink in winter, writhes across the middle of the square.
