Almere boasts one of the largest woodland playgrounds in the Netherlands. The Zuiderzee playground has different sections. The entire lay-out and all the play equipment has a Zuiderzee theme, however, each section has its own character and adventurous challenges. Come and discover the meandering paths, all the water, the island and much, much more!

Each section has its own theme and character:

The sand play section is a favourite with the younger kids where they can play in a half buried house or with the fish sticking its head out above the sand.

The nature research section is the perfect place to look for animals in the pond or among the various (fruit bearing) shrubs.

Exciting, meandering paths drift between the various areas and are partly paved to allow children with a physical limitation to join in with the fun.

An ideal place for kids (and their parents) to get to know Flevoland's history and nature in a playful fashion.

The nine hectares of woodland playground is located on the rim of De Kemphaan country estate in Almere. The entrance is next to De Kemphaan's main entrance, close to the ‘Bridge of Life’ artwork.
