Culture Company Noordoostpolder lets residents of the Noordoostpolder experience art, culture and heritage. Stichting Cultuurbedrijf Noordoostpolder consists of 5 components at 4 locations: Muzisch Centrum, Theater ‘t Voorhuys, Museum Schokland, Kunstuitleen Emmeloord and Eut de Kunst Urk.
Musical Centre
The Muzisch Centrum is the centre for amateur art and cultural education in the Noordoostpolder. Some 1,200 pupils take weekly lessons in music, visual arts and dance. In addition, the Muzisch Centrum provides a broad range of art programmes for primary and secondary schools in the region. The Muzisch Centrum also offers various rental options and facilities and has a flat-floor theatre hall with an extendable stand (180 seats) and sound and lighting equipment. The theatre hall not only hosts performance evenings and its own productions; it can also be rented.

Theatre ‘t Voorhuys is one of the four theatres in Flevoland. With a varied range of performances: from cabaret to classical music, from plays to theatre concerts. Museum Schokland
Museum Schokland, world heritage site, is located on the Middelbuurt, one of the last three residential terps of the former island. The indoor and outdoor exhibits present the geology and archaeology of the Northeast Polder, the origin and decay of the island, the life of the Schokker population and the reclamation of the Northeast Polder. The museum buildings are grouped around the historic 1834 church. They give an impression of construction methods in the former Zuiderzee area.
