Care farm ‘de Boerderij’ is a care farm where people with disabilities work. The organic horticultural farm offers a safe workplace with activities adapted to the client and is open to the environment.
Originally, ‘the Farm’ is an initiative of parents of mentally disabled children and volunteers who feel involved in the combination of care and agriculture. ‘The Farm’ cooperates with some other institutions. From the first year of the project, parents of (ex-)psychiatric patients have also been involved.
