Route description
By car, follow the A6 (Amsterdam-Emmeloord) and take exit 10, towards Lelystad via Larserdreef. Turn left on the Torenvalkweg and follow it to the Knardijk. Turn right onto the Knardijk. The visitors’ centre with a car park is situated on the left past the railway viaduct. It is difficult to reach the visitors’ centre with public transport: the closest bus stop is about an hour’s walk away. You could rent a bicycle in Lelystad. It takes about half an hour to cycle from the station/centre to the visitors’ centre (follow Buizerdweg/Knardijk). De Schollevaar hut is not on the map; it lies in the middle of the area and is only open during planned excursions.
